Pop-Up at FLOW in North Mpls
July 26th & 27th

Artists Wing Young Huie, Ashley Hanson and City Planner Jim Voll will be at the FLOW Northside Art Crawl, presenting multiple creative community engagement activities they have been implementing along Penn Avenue. This is part of the Creative CityMaking project, a partnership between Intermedia Arts and the City of Minneapolis.

Join them at the old American Legion building (2038 West Broadway Ave, Minneapolis) for Ping-Pong Engagement, CityMaking Jeopardy, Project Pen(n), and a chance to contribute your ideas to the city planning process.

On Friday from 6 - 9pm and on Saturday from 1 - 7pm, performance artists from North Minneapolis will perform 30-minute sets and engage in a talkback with the audience about their work and their experiences living or working in North Minneapolis. Featured artists include Storyteller Jamela Pettiford, pianist Peter Moua, and world string aficionadoScott Niemen. Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
