We are the Other (2012 - 2013) by Wing Young Huie is a public installation of 100 photographs exhibited in 19 storefronts--on windows, walls, and ceilings--along Chicago Avenue, from 32nd to 38th Streets in South Minneapolis. Beside taking documentary portraits, Wing also used interactive concepts to connect neighbors who don't know each other well or at all. This exhibit reflects the complex cultural diversity of the Chicago Avenue corridor. This project is part of Arts on Chicago.
